Billy Mason graduated from Spencerport High School in 1971 where he was a dominate 3-sport athlete. He was the leading scorer and captain of the soccer team, the point guard for the basketball team and the catcher for the baseball team. He was recruited to play soccer at SUNY Delhi in Delaware County, NY and graduated in 1973. He then worked for Eastman Kodak Company and later co-owned a siding business with his brother, Steve.
Billy was raised in the small village of Spencerport, NY along with 6 siblings and he often said that he had the greatest childhood of all time. Billy devoted his adult life to his family, especially his son Bill, whom he supported in all his endeavors. He was extremely proud of Bill and was looking forward to moving in with him and his wife Amanda to help raise his grandsons. Unfortunately, his life was cut tragically short in May of 2021 and he was unable to fulfill that dream.
Billy exhibited tremendous athletic prowess and leadership skills throughout his athletic career. His foundation was established to help other young athletes and students fulfill their potential. Please honor Billy's memory by supporting his foundation through donations, volunteering or becoming involved in our events.
